Carvoeiro
Cliffs, coves and a village kept intact
Further along the coast from Porches, Carvoeiro grew up around a small sheltered cove — a former fishing village whose narrow streets were never redeveloped into a resort strip. Golden limestone cliffs and hidden grottoes run along the coastline either side of it.
It carries a strong international resident base, and is generally regarded as one of the central Algarve's most desirable villa addresses.
